ARISS recently tweeted that the computer onboard the Internation Space Station which is used for the SSTV events had failed and they have replaced it with a backup. As a result they are running two periods of testing the new hardware on the 30th (13:30 till 19:00 UTC) and 31st (15:00 UTC till 17:30) of January 2020.
The first day gives us a number of passes which should yield good results. Currently there is no information as to the nature of the images on this event.
Damian, 2E0TXE will be attempting to receive the images using his FT857D and Diamond X50 antenna.
